NOBO Projectors use the Latest DLP Technology which gives an improved picture quality & colour reproduction with more shade & detail in an image. Contrast ratio (1500/2000:1) is approx 5 times that of traditional LCD projectors so blacks are black & whites are white. There is no evident pixelation with DLP so the picture make up gives a seamless film-like digital image. Fast light switching gives superb video performance & true motion reproduction with no ghosting.

What is DLP?
DLP stands for Digital Light Processing which was developed by Texas Instruments. It basically uses a microchip consisting of millions of switchable mirrors which build the image. It is a far simpler & more robust reliable design than LCD technology. Advantages are a high contrast ratio, rich vibrant natural colours, pin sharp images unaffected by heat, humidity or vibration. Projectors using DLP technology will be smaller, lighter, generate less heat and will ultimately be quieter as they require less cooling. |
